Welcome to the Online Resource Directory

Sex trafficking is a self-sustaining problem.

The majority of victims would like a better life, but without an ID and with a sex offense record, it is nearly impossible for someone to improve their situation.  Most trafficked and prostituted people will end up back where they started, or worse, dead.

Specialized programs do exist to help get people out of this situation, but they were difficult for us to find and it would therefore be impossible for someone struggling to survive in a dangerous situation.  We found that key agencies and non-profits were often unaware of one another.  Because no program offers a comprehensive solution but they all offer complementary services, this disconnect seriously limits their ability to provide assistance to people wanting to escape sex trafficking.  Many of the program directors and workers that we spoke with expressed a desire for better access to this information.  For this reason, we have created this online directory of information and resources for their benefit and yours.  By bridging the gap between social programs, we hope to be able to improve their overall effectiveness and increase access between resources and the people who need them.

Sex trafficking is slavery.  Slavery still exists today- not just in poor countries, but everywhere.  It is the great social ill of our day.  Slavery will probably always exist because there will always be greedy, selfish, and lazy people and there will always be vulnerable people- but we can and should help limit its presence in our world.  Please take some time to educate yourself on the subject.  By educating yourself, you will become able to help fight it.
